From a young age, Dr. Jonathan Miller says he’s been fascinated with anatomy and biological senses, so medicine was a natural path for him that perfectly blended science and service to others. “When entering an exam room, or meeting a patient for the first time, I intentionally smile, make eye contact, and give a strong handshake,” Dr. Miller says. “I make it a point not to have any computer or paperwork with me. I want the patient to know that they are my #1 priority. I do my best not to rush so that every patient feels that they are given the highest quality care possible.”
1. What do you love most about your profession?
My patients and my staff. I genuinely love them. It is such a privilege to have patients that trust me with their health and to work alongside staff who are awesome team players.
2. What sets your practice apart?
It’s our team culture of putting others first, acting with integrity, leading with excellence, and serving with compassion. Also, our staff frequently pray together for our patients and each other, which I think makes a big difference in the cultural atmosphere and patient outcomes.
3. What is your philosophy when it comes to the care of your patients?
It’s in our motto: “Where you come first.” My patient’s needs come first. I will go to great lengths to make sure they get the best care possible.
4. What would you consider to be your main strengths?
My family. Trust in God. Love for others. Discipline. Motivation. Cheerful attitude. Leadership focused. Intentional. Detail-oriented. Tenacity. Galvanizing. Resilient. Perseverant. Compassion.
5. What accolades mean the most to you?
When my children say I’m the best daddy in the world or when my patients say I’m their favorite doctor.
