Melissa Kantor, PA-C
Board-Certified Physician Assistant
Melissa Kantor, a board-certified Physician Assistant with nearly 28 years of clinical experience, has joined Uderm in Chattanooga as an aesthetic and dermatology provider. Kantor’s career began in emergency medicine and primary care, giving her a broad foundation in patient assessment, skin pathology, and whole-person care that she now brings to her aesthetic practice – an advantage that allows her to look beyond surface-level concerns and treat each patient with a clinician’s eye for overall health and safety.
For the past 12 years, she has specialized in aesthetic medicine, including injectibles, laser treatments, PRP/PRF therapy, skin resurfacing, and medical-grade skincare, as well as perimenopause and menopausal care for women. Kantor understands how hormonal changes during this stage of life can affect what patients see in the mirror, and she brings that insight to her approach to helping women look and feel their best through the transition.
She previously founded Glo Medical Aesthetics and Wellness, which she later sold to a national aesthetics company.
Throughout her career, patient education has always been Kantor’s top priority – a commitment that forms the foundation of her aesthetic practice. She extends that mission beyond the treatment room by writing monthly articles for a local publication dedicated to patient education and by appearing as a guest on local podcasts to educate the public on wellness and aesthetic medicine, helping the broader community make informed decisions about their skin health and aesthetic care.
Outside of work, Kantor moved to Tennessee to be closer to family and enjoys traveling and spending quality time with friends and family. She loves anything that gets her outside in the fresh air and sunshine, especially with her husband, their seven kids, and their two dogs.
Kantor will begin accepting new patients at Uderm’s Chattanooga locations in November.
